What is collagen and how does it benefit me?


Collagen can derive from different sources including bovine (cow), porcine (pig) and fish (marine). At LUXE Fitness, we have sourced superior French Marine Collagen and among all collagen types, marine can be the most beneficial for results.


There are many different types of collagen in our bodies that vary in their function, the most abundant being Type 1. Marine collagen is entirely made of Type 1 collagen and can be absorbed up to 1.5 times more than other types. Most importantly, its vital for your skin, hair, nails and muscle tissue health.


From about our mid twenties, our collagen levels begin to deplete and we start to show signs of ageing including fine wrinkles and dehydrated skin, so it's important to support and supplement these levels.
